Security Procedures at Indianapolis International Airport

Passengers of domestic or international flights must be checked by TSA security upon the entry of the United States. Security procedures consist of the same methods as it is during the departure checking. Please be prepared and aware of having your carry-on bags, shoes, jackets, and pockets checked by TSA officers at IND airport security checkpoints.

The Custom and Border Protection (CBP) at IND Airport

The Custom and Border Protection service, CBP, takes the duty to monitor newly arrival passengers. CBP Security agents check the valid identification documents, and besides, they make the right to ask additional questions if necessary. Be prepared to answer honestly with patience. Also, those air travelers who are visiting the States should ensure that only presenting Visa at CBP is not enough to be allowed to enter the U.S.
